Attention all American citizens:

The Consular Section of U.S. Embassy Abuja would like to inform American citizens that we will be closed to the public on Friday, August 29, 2008 as it is the last Friday of the month, and Monday, September 1, 2008 for the American Labor Day holiday.  The Consular section will reopen for normally scheduled business hours on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.  The Consulate in Lagos will be open on Friday during regularly scheduled business hours but will also be closed on Monday, September 1 for Labor Day.

U.S. Embassy Abuja is located at Plot 1075 Diplomatic Drive, Central Business District, Abuja.  For Abuja after-hours emergencies, call 09-461-4000. Abuja’s international telephone number is 011 [234] (9) 461-4000. The U.S.Consulate Lagos is located at 2 Walter Carrington Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos; the telephone number is 01-261-1215. For Lagos after-hours emergencies, call 011 [234] (1) 261-1414, 261-0195, 261-0078, 261-0139, or 261-6477.
