Attention all American citizens: 

According to recent press reports, Niger Delta militants representing MEND (Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta) have issued threats targeting facilities and expatriate personnel associated with the German construction firm Julius Berger in the Abuja area.  U.S. Mission personnel have been advised to carefully consider the need to visit Berger facilities until further notice.    We continue to advise all Americans to review their security procedures, remain vigilant to their surroundings, and report any specific incidences of targeted violence toward U.S. citizens or facilities.
