New IRS Brochure for Overseas Taxpayers

The following message is being issued jointly by the U.S. Embassy Abuja and U.S. Consulate General Lagos for American citizens in Nigeria.

The Internal Revenue Service  began shipping copies of Publication 4732, Federal Tax Information for U.S. Taxpayers, to embassies and consulates during the first week of February and we anticipate receiving them within the next few weeks. The IRS developed this brochure as a resource to assist taxpayers in locating useful tax information to help in the preparation of their tax returns and/or in resolving tax account problems.  Publication 4732, Federal Tax Information for U.S. Taxpayers Living Abroad, is also available on the web at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p4732.pdf
