Cultural Affairs

Cultural Affairs specialists bring notable U.S. speakers to Nigeria to discuss issues of mutual concern.  We organize seminars, symposia, and cultural programs.  We are responsible for several exchange programs that sends Nigerians to the U.S. and brings Americans to Nigeria to work and study.  We also assist Nigerian students and scholars to study in the U.S.   (more)

The Educational Advising Centers in Abuja and Lagos assist students to study in the U.S. Educational advisers counsel students on how to identify U.S. colleges and universities and how to apply for admissions and U.S. visas. (more)

The Information Section engages the Nigerian print and electronic media to explain U.S. policies toward Nigeria.
