Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program Workshop for Prospective Applicants Held in Lagos

The Public Affairs Section, U.S. Consulate Lagos organized a workshop to inform prospective applicants for the Hubert H. Humphrey (HHH) Fellowship on how to “Apply successfully for the HHH program”. The participants viewed a video on the Humphrey Program “Building a World Together. The Public Diplomacy Officer, Mary Lou Johnson-Pizarro gave an overview of the purpose of the program and highlighted some key eligibility criteria. The Cultural Affairs Assistant, Chinenye Uwadileke gave a presentation on the elements that make for a successful application. Participants were able to ask questions after both presentations.  Over sixty mid-career professionals from all walks of life attended this informative session and many commented on how useful it was for them to have this firsthand information explained in such detail. Information packets were distributed to all who attended.
