Visa Revalidation Program Extended to Student Visa Applicants

Abuja - In order to assist student visa applicants that wish to begin school in the USA in early 2007 and to make it easier for student applicants year-round, the Consular Section of American Embassy Abuja has expanded the Visa Revalidation Program to include all student visa applicants. 

Effective on Monday, December 18, 2006 any student wishing to apply for a student visa will be able to appear at the Consular Section Gate any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 1:30 p.m. (except holidays) with all of the necessary visa application forms, financial documents, school registration documents, and all other documents necessary to qualify for a student visa.  

Since the Visa Revalidation Program is open only from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m., applicants not processed by 2:00 p.m. will need to return the next day,  (except holidays).
