United States Donates Office Equipment to Interpol in Lagos

December 11, 2008

The U.S. Mission in Nigeria today donated office equipment, computers, laptops, a digital camera, an Infocus projector and printers worth more than $12,000 to the Nigerian Police Force’s (NPF) Interpol Office in Lagos.  The equipment will support the work of the Interpol office to effectively track and intercept criminal suspects.

Today’s donation demonstrates the U.S. Mission’s continued support for the NPF.  The U.S. Mission previously donated hi-tech fingerprinting equipment to the Lagos Interpol office to assist in the accurate identification of internationally wanted persons.
