State Department Jefferson Science Fellow Visits Nigeria

Dr. Osama O. Awadelkarim, Professor of Engineering Science and Mechanics, College of Engineering, The Pennsylvania State University, visited Nigeria to attend the "US/Africa Workshop on Frontiers in Materials Research and Education" which is attended by leading African scientists from more than 15 African countries.  Professor Awadelkarim addressed the meeting on issues related to “U. S. Department of State and Science & Technology". The presentation and discussion took close to two hours and was well received.
