The Information Resource Centers

The Information Resource Centers (IRCs) are reference/research library that provide comprehensive and authoritative information on the United States. 

IRC reference specialists help you find facts and answers, keep you up to date, and empower you to help yourself. 

In the IRCs you will find news from Washington and information about U.S. foreign policy, law, democracy and government, trade and economics, American literature and political thinking, HIVAIDS, U.S. and international statistics, and Internet.

We have information for journalists, academics, businessmen and women, civic organizations, teachers, students, government officials, military, clergy and traditional rulers.

Article Alert:
Article Alert is a digest of periodical literature selected by our editors from a variety of sources and on a wide range of topics.

FREE Books:
Illustrated publications, slide movies, and video on U.S. society, culture, and policies.

eJournal USA:
A monthly electronic journal available in multiple languages about U.S. foreign affairs and U.S. society and culture.

Student Corner:
Facts, fun stories, and short publications that can help you with school assignments or other projects about the United States. They are FREE for download!

The Information Resource Center is open on days stated below except on American and Nigerian Holidays.

Abuja
9.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. Monday - Thursday
9.00 a.m. - 12 noon Friday

Lagos
Monday through Thursday 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
