The American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit of the Consular Section provides information and assistance to U.S. citizens in Nigeria. American Citizens Services consists of Special Consular Services, Passport & Citizenship claims and Federal Benefits.

Hours of Operation

Consular Reports of Birth Abroad are done by appointment only.  Please schedule your appointment here https://evisaforms.state.gov/acs/default.asp?postcode=LGS&appcode=1

Extra Passport Pages:  Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Notary Services:  Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Federal Benefit Services:  Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Passport Pickup only:  Monday to Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Please note that the Embassy is closed to the public for American and Nigerian holidays, and the last Friday of every month.
